TidyRead is a service that extracts the text from almost any web site and displays it on an easy to read page that removes all of the clutter that can make reading on the internet so hard sometimes. While reading is one of the main activities on the internet, a lot of sites pay very little attention to the readability of their text and the display on smart phones, such as iPhone, iPod Touch and Android phones. Instead, the reader’s eye is constantly drawn to other UI elements, ads, and widgets. This problem is even worse when surfing on smart phones. Wordle In The Classroom

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends. The Wordle below was taken from the website.

2. Encyclopedia.com – http://www.encyclopedia.com/ – this is a free encyclopedia site. It brings in information from many reliable sources and is peer reviewed and checked.
3. Fixya - http://www.fixya.com/ – Free computer and technology help and support site. Also has many user manuals available.
